Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before booking a service with Furniture Movers Dubai (“we,” “us,” “our,” “the Company”). By requesting a quote, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

We provide furniture moving, packing, dismantling, transport, and reassembly services for residential and commercial customers across Dubai and other emirates, including but not limited to sofas, beds and mattresses, wardrobes, dining tables, pianos, office furniture, and antique or fragile items.

2. Quotes and Bookings

  • Quotes provided via WhatsApp, phone, or our website are based on the information you provide, including item type, quantity, access conditions, and distance.
  • The final price may be adjusted if the actual items, quantities, or site conditions (e.g., no elevator access, long carry distance, additional dismantling) differ from what was originally described.
  • Bookings are confirmed once a time slot and price have been agreed upon between you and our team.

3. Payment

  • Payment terms (amount, method, and timing) will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is generally due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We do not charge hidden fees; any additional charges (e.g., extra items, extended waiting time, additional stops) will be communicated before they are applied.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us via WhatsApp or phone as early as possible.
  • Cancellations made with insufficient notice, or after our team has been dispatched, may be subject to a cancellation or trip charge, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the items to be moved, including size, weight, and any pre-existing damage or fragility
  • Ensure a representative is available at both pickup and delivery locations, or provide clear access instructions
  • Obtain any building permits, elevator bookings, or access approvals required by your building management, unless you have specifically arranged for us to handle this on your behalf
  • Disclose any items requiring special handling (e.g., antiques, pianos, valuables) in advance

6. Prohibited Items

We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, perishable goods, live animals, or cash/valuables of significant monetary worth. Please inform us in advance if you are uncertain whether an item falls into this category.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • Our team takes reasonable care in packing, handling, and transporting your furniture, using appropriate padding, wrapping, and equipment.
  • We maintain insurance coverage for our moving operations as required under UAE regulations.
  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited to items that were disclosed to us accurately and packed/handled by our team. We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer, or for pre-existing damage not disclosed prior to the move.
  • Any damage claim must be reported to us in writing (email or WhatsApp) within 24 hours of delivery, along with photographic evidence, so we can review and address it.

8. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic restrictions, extreme weather, building access issues, or government regulations.

9. Same-Day and Inter-Emirate Moves

  • Same-day bookings are subject to availability and confirmed at the time of contact.
  • Moves to other emirates (e.g., Sharjah, Abu Dhabi) are priced based on distance and item volume, and are subject to the same terms outlined in this document.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
